    Preface:

Northern Thailand has many hilltribes. Each tribe has its own culture, tradition, and language. The main occupation is unstable plantation, especially the hilltribe usually growing opium which is the main cause of deforestation.

This research about general characteristics of hilltribe, habits, unique performance, spirit which is influenced about their culture, dialect, religious, ceremonies, occupation, and effectiveness of tourism. I believe that it is useful for you to get some idea about hilltribes.
